Microglyph Background
Xerox/PARC DataGlyphs
The predecessor technology of today’s Microglyph Code is Dataglyph, a technology developed by Xerox Corporation - well known as “The Document Company” and famous for it’s copiers and printing machines. The common grounds of Dataglyphs and Microglyph are the basic code structures - the 45° leaning lines (Glyphs).
PARC-Palo Alto Research Center is a fully owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation and has exclusively licensed the DataGlyph Technology and worldwide patents to Microglyph.
